Bahrain’s Parliament Speaker Reinforces Saudi Arabia’s Central Role in Regional Security

Bahraini parliament speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam highlighted the depth of Bahraini-Saudi relations, citing their longstanding history, close fraternal ties, expanding cooperation and shared interests.

On the occasion of Saudi National Day, Al-Musallam said Bahrain’s Council of Representatives remains committed to strengthening parliamentary cooperation with the Saudi Shura Council and coordinating in regional and international parliamentary forums in support of both countries and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

He also pointed to Saudi Arabia’s development across various sectors under Vision 2030, highlighting economic diversification, youth empowerment, investment in human capital and major projects designed to deliver broader benefits.

Al-Musallam acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s role in advancing regional and international causes, as well as its humanitarian efforts. He described the Kingdom as a central pillar of regional security and stability and an important voice in international forums.
