FC Barcelona is trying to land both Karim Adeyemi and Jesse Bisiwu.

FC Barcelona has submitted an offer for a new prospective squad member as they continue their pursuit of Karim Adeyemi. According to reports from Belgium’s Nieuwsblad and Catalonia’s SPORT, both citing anonymous sources, the club has made a move for Club Brugge youngster Jesse Bisiwu.
The target is 18-year-old Jesse Bisiwu of Club Brugge, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most promising young talents.
An initial bid of €10 million ($11.4 million) has reportedly been rejected by the Belgian club.
However, negotiations remain active, and Brugge are expected to concede if Barcelona improve their offer and include a significant sell-on clause.
Should the deal—spearheaded by Sporting Director Deco and Joao Amaral—be finalized, Bisiwu would sign a four-year contract with the Blaugrana.
The plan involves Bisiwu initially joining Barcelona Atlètic, though a pathway to Hansi Flick’s first team exists should he fulfill his potential under the guidance of Juliano Belletti.
Barcelona Continue Investing in Future Talent
Barcelona’s intent to bolster their wide positions is no secret. This summer alone, the club has secured Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for €70 million ($80 million) and is advancing on a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi.
Adeyemi is available at a reduced fee having entered the final year of his contract, potentially costing a base €22 million plus €7 million in add-ons.
Notably, while Adeyemi is versatile across the front line, his primary position is left wing.
The same applies to Gordon and Bisiwu, signaling that the club may be preparing for a future without Raphinha.
The 29-year-old fan favorite has been plagued by injuries recently, missing over 20 matches due to hamstring issues during the 2025/26 season. Crucially, he was absent for both legs of the Champions League quarterfinal defeat to Atletico Madrid.
With interest from Saudi Arabia mounting, Barcelona could be tempted to cash in this summer, particularly as they simultaneously pursue Julian Alvarez.
