Bianca Belair Opens Up About New Health Struggles During Injury Recovery Period

WWE star Bianca Belair has revealed that she is dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome while continuing to recover from a previous injury.

The news came through her Instagram stories, where she shared that all of her fingers are numb and she currently has no sensation in the finger that underwent surgery. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a medical condition resulting from pressure on the median nerve as it passes through the wrist, causing numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness in the hand and fingers.

In addition to carpal tunnel syndrome, Belair mentioned developing “Mom thumb,” also known as De Quervain’s tenosynovitis. This is a painful inflammation of the wrist tendons caused by repetitive lifting and holding of a newborn. She recently announced the birth of her and Montez Ford’s baby boy, whom they named Romeo Leonardo Allen Crawford.

“No one ever talks about this stuff… currently carpal tunnel in both hands… fingers completely numb, no feeling in surgery finger whatsoever, no grip strength, and now also Mom thumb…wtf lol,” Belair said.

Bianca Belair has been out of action since WWE WrestleMania 41. She suffered a serious finger injury during her match against IYO Sky and Rhea Ripley and underwent surgery earlier this year. Belair made a surprise appearance at WrestleMania 42 for an in-ring segment with John Cena, during which she revealed her pregnancy.

Dealing with a finger injury and a newborn can be stressful for anyone. WWE fans are hoping Belair overcomes these challenges and makes a successful return to the ring down the line.
