Bijan Robinson, Drake London Deliver Historic 194-Yard Night for Falcons

Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and wide receiver Drake London produced a historic performance at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.

Robinson finished with 194 rushing yards, while London collected 194 receiving yards as Atlanta defeated Green Bay 35-14.

According to Josh Dubow of the Associated Press, London and Robinson became the first teammates to each record more than 150 yards from scrimmage in a road game at Lambeau Field. They also became the first teammates to each gain at least 190 yards from scrimmage in a road game in 50 years, a feat last achieved by the Rams’ Lawrence McCutcheon and Ron Jessie against Miami in 1976.

Robinson and London have now combined for 150 or more yards from scrimmage in three games. They are the first pair of teammates in NFL history to reach that mark in the same game three times.

Robinson added two catches for 19 yards, bringing his game total to 213 yards from scrimmage. He became the first player this season to surpass 200 yards from scrimmage in a game and currently leads the NFL with 467 yards through three games, averaging 155.7 yards per game.

Atlanta’s quarterback play struggled during the first two weeks of the season, when Cooper Rush was benched for Jack Strand. With Michael Penix now healthy, the Falcons have an opportunity to feature their dynamic playmakers more effectively. If Penix executes consistently and gets the ball to Robinson and London, Atlanta’s offense could become a serious threat for the rest of the season.
