Bitcoin’s Largest Holders Return to Accumulation Trend, On‑Chain Data Indicates[/TITLEachine]

Bitcoin’s top holders appear to be quietly ramping up their positions.

According to Santiment analytics, the count of wallets holding at least 10,000 BTC has rebounded to 90, marking a six‑month peak. Over the preceding eight weeks, the number of such whale wallets has risen by six, reflecting a 7.às% increase.

This shift builds on a broader accumulation trend first highlighted four days earlier. From July 29 onward, wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC—encompassing whales and sharks—have amassed Bitcoin worth $1.5 billion. Santiment noted that simultaneous buying by large accounts and selling by smaller holders heightened the likelihood of a price move above $70,000 versus a dip below $60,000.

During the same period, micro‑wallet balances have progressively shrunk over August. Santiment links this divergence to two recent events that deepen uncertainty: the Coldcard hardware‑wallet breach that extracted roughly $120 million in BTC, and the continued delay of the U.S. Clarity Act, a key crypto market‑structure bill that the Senate has now moved to an lives to an expected September passage.

These developmentsडक signal a typical supply rotation, as coins transition from smaller holders to the wallets of the largest investors, commonly dubbed “strong hands.”
