A cockroach effigy was set ablaze in New Delhi on Tuesday as part of Hindu festival Dussehra celebrations, which traditionally mark the victory of good over evil. The event, organized by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took place against the backdrop of widespread demonstrations led by the opposition Cockroach Janta Party.
