Former ECW and WWE wrestler Blue Meanie is requesting fans send positive thoughts his way as he navigates a difficult recovery.
Brian Heffron, better known as Blue Meanie, announced he is experiencing significant pain after suffering broken ribs in a fall. The update also coincides with a personal loss, as he is mourning a death in his family.
Blue Meanie Podcast Paused During Recovery
The “Mind of Meanie” podcast, co-hosted by Adam Barnard of The Sportster, will not release new episodes for the coming weeks while Heffron recuperates. The show has re-uploaded a classic episode from 2023 to fill this week’s airing.
The podcast team issued a statement: Due to The Blue Meanie’s injury, new episodes will be paused for the coming weeks. In the interim, the show will re-air selected favorite episodes until Heffron returns. The team expressed regret, thanking supporters and promising a return soon, signing off with love from Meanie, Adam, Sam, and Carl.
