The legendary singer Bonnie Tyler embarked on her final journey to her Mumbles residence, as thousands of moved fans lined the streets to honor her.

The ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ vocalist passed away unexpectedly on July 8 at the age of 75 while in a Portuguese hospital.

Following her death, tributes flooded in from friends and fellow artists such as Catherine Zeta‑Jones, Bryan Adams, and Rod Stewart.

Although her career took her across the globe, residents of the coastal suburb of Mumbles remember her as a true ‘Swansea girl’ who never forgot her roots.

Large crowds gathered as her coffin was transported through the town she considered home.
