Maia Bouchier’s explosive century in consecutive matches propelled Hampshire to the Metro Bank One Day Cup Final for the second year running.
After posting 118 against The Blaze, Bouchier delivered a breathtaking 117 not out, marking her third hundred in September, including a 104 for England against Ireland. She leads the competition with 721 runs from 11 innings.
A century partnership with Freya Kemp (77) and a supporting 60 from Abi Norgrove helped Hampshire reach 303 for 5.
Surrey collapsed to 109 all out, with Australian Amanda-Jade Wellington claiming 5 for 19 to lift her tally to 37 wickets in 2026.
Hampshire will face The Blaze in Saturday’s Final at Utilita Bowl, seeking revenge for last year’s loss to Lancashire.
The semi-final rematch saw Surrey bat first on a more favorable pitch. Bouchier struck quickly, but captain Kira Chathli fell early, and dismissals of Ella McCaughan and Georgia Adams inside 11 overs gave the visitors a toehold.
At 50 for 2, Kemp’s aggressive entry swung momentum. Her 77 off 63 balls in a 110-run stand with Bouchier was a masterclass, targeting the midwicket boundary relentlessly.
Kemp and Rhianna Southby were both caught and bowled, but Norgrove maintained pressure with three fifties in five innings since returning from The Hundred.
Bouchier has amassed 423 runs in five innings for Hampshire and England, bringing her season total to a remarkable 1,680.
The pair relentlessly wore down Surrey, surging past 300. Bouchier, given a life on 62, struck powerfully through cover and straight to reach her fifth hundred of 2026, while Norgrove was run out off the final ball.
Surrey’s chase of 304 looked daunting on a good but tiring pitch. Rachel King’s solid start faded as Daisy Gibb removed Sophia Dunkley, and spin strangled the innings.
Sune Luus holed out, Jemima Spence was bowled, Phoebe Franklin caught, Alice Davidson-Richards edged to slip, King run out, and Ryana Macdonald-Gay and Alice Monaghan bowled.
Wellington sealed the match by stumping Chathli, completing her second five-wicket haul of the tournament.
