While echoing themes of Israeli filmmaker Yariv Mozer’s documentary on the massacre, the song situates itself within a broader critique of conflict rather than a singular political stance.

The song opens with a defiant rebuttal to allegations of Israeli genocide: “You say genocide, I say war/ When you’re attacked, that’s what the army’s for.” This assertion directly challenges United Nations reports characterizing Israel’s military operation in Gaza as genocidal. Later verses criticize pro-Palestinian advocacy through phrases like “Musicians holding flags, mouthing like sheep/ Propaganda fueled by the internet feels so weak,” framing such expressions as performative and ideologically driven.
