Liverpool have intensified their pursuit of Paris Saint‑Germain forward Bradley Barcola and are readying an initial bid.

The 23‑year‑old French winger has emerged as Liverpool’s top target to succeed Mohamed Salah, who departed at the close of the previous campaign.

PSG rates Barcola at roughly £145 million, a sum that would shatter the UK transfer record, although Liverpool are hoping to negotiate a fee nearer to £100 million.

With two years remaining on his PSG contract, Barcola is reportedly eager to join Liverpool for a fresh challenge after losing ground in the Parisian hierarchy.

Liverpool had previously pursued RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, but the winger is now poised to move to Real Madrid.
