Bravo Severs Ties With ‘Below Deck’ Star Nathan Gallagher Amid Domestic Violence Allegations

Bravo has officially terminated its relationship with Below Deck star Nathan Gallagher following domestic violence charges, a network representative confirmed to Rolling Stone. The decision comes after Gallagher failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing.

Bravo does not plan to work with Nathan in the future, the spokesperson stated Friday.

Sources indicate that cast members from the Below Deck franchise had grown frustrated with Bravo’s silence after news of Gallagher’s arrest emerged in mid-August. According to the source, network officials had instructed those associated with the show to refrain from public commentary on the matter, even as fans demanded transparency regarding Gallagher’s future with the franchise and when Bravo first became aware of his arrest.

Rolling Stone previously reported that Gallagher was arrested in late December 2025 in Sydney, Australia, facing charges of assault and strangulation following a dispute with his partner, Gael Cameron. The couple met while filming Season Nine of Below Deck Mediterranean, where they developed a romance while working together on a superyacht’s deck crew. They welcomed a son in June 2025. One of this season’s central storylines follows Gallagher balancing his bosun responsibilities while attempting to be present for Cameron and their newborn, who were residing nearby in Croatia.

In an altercation that allegedly occurred near their young son on December 26, 2025, Gallagher was accused of physically restraining Cameron and placing both hands around her neck with enough pressure to impede her breathing, according to reports and court documents. He was arrested the following day.

The 28-year-old was scheduled to appear before a magistrate judge on Tuesday but failed to attend, resulting in a conviction on charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault, and intentionally choking a person without consent. Police indicated that Gallagher was believed to be overseas.

A warrant was issued for Gallagher’s arrest, with the presiding judge noting that the offenses are very serious with significant maximum penalties, according to Australian media reports.

Prior to his court date, Gallagher told Rolling Stone in a statement that he had made mistakes but claimed only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation was being presented. He stated he possessed evidence that would offer a different version of events but did not provide any materials to Rolling Stone to substantiate his claims.

Bravo has not clarified whether there will be any internal investigation into Gallagher’s conduct. Rolling Stone understands that Gallagher will not be edited out of the remaining episodes of the current season. 51 Minds Entertainment, the production company behind the show, has not responded to requests for comment.

Following Gallagher’s domestic violence charges, former cast members from other Below Deck franchises have criticized the show’s vetting processes. Ben Willoughby, who appeared in Seasons 10 and 11 of Below Deck, took to Instagram expressing disappointment with what the show has become. Former stewardess Hayley De Sola Pinto also voiced concerns about recent casting decisions.
