Billy Jones, the late co-founder and owner of Baby’s All Right and several other New York City nightlife staples, has been honored with a street dedication in his name. Billy Jones Way was revealed on Sunday at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Broadway in Brooklyn, just steps from the iconic venue. Jones, who died in 2025 at age 45 after a battle with glioblastoma, was a pivotal figure in the city’s music and nightlife landscape.

Tom Moore, who runs Baby’s All Right, shared memories of Jones’s influence during the ceremony, noting that Jones had a rare gift for connecting with emerging artists and music enthusiasts. Whenever a fresh-faced artist or obsessive fan reached out, Jones would respond with a coffee and often the beginning of a meaningful collaboration. When he encountered the perfect blend of sound and vision, he championed it wholeheartedly, understanding that an audience can transform an idea into an act, and that act into part of the city’s bigger story. Baby’s All Right, Moore said, is the house Jones built—a space where countless stories have begun since.

Beyond Baby’s All Right, Jones was the force behind other notable NYC venues, including Night Club 101, Elvis Guesthouse, the Dance, and Funny Bar. In the hours following the street dedication, Baby’s All Right hosted a celebration featuring surprise sets from Blood Orange, Porches, Fcukers, and other artists, marking a fitting tribute to his enduring legacy.
