The Gets So Hot Tour may have lived up to its name a bit too literally. Muna appeared on Los Angeles’ KTLA 5 local news network today following a fire that damaged their tour bus in Burbank, California. The band subsequently confirmed via Instagram that no one was injured, sharing: “many personal items were lost but we’re all safe, thank goodness .”
In a comment on the post, Muna’s Naomi McPherson wrote, “if anyone could help me find the grandchild of the warlock whose curse is wreaking havoc on my life so that i can carry em up the mountain & fulfill the prophecy / undo the curse that has befallen me that would be much appreciated.” McPherson had missed several of the band’s shows last month while caring for their mother, who was suffering from terminal cancer.
As of this writing, Muna’s Gets So Hot Tour is set to continue as planned, with the next performance scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, at Red Rocks.
