The Knicks secured a narrow 105-104 victory over the San Antonio Spurs, mending a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit to extend their 13-game playoff winning streak and take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

Towns highlighted Brunson’s Villanova background when discussing team unity, stating, “He brings that national championship energy.” Brunson, holding up two fingers, elongated the moment: “I’ve got two—2016 and 2018.” Towns later acknowledged Brunson’s collegiate pedigree, noting his own Kentucky experience ended short of NCAA glory in 2015.
