BTS Secures 2026’s Biggest Debut
With 70,000 digital purchases, Swift’s single ranks as the second‑largest debut of 2026 on the Digital Song Sales chart. However, it is outperformed by “Swim” from BTS’s comeback album Arirang. The track entered the chart with 94,500 copies sold in its opening week and added 67,000 copies the following week, just shy of Swift’s first‑week total.
Just last week, Ariana Grande claimed the third‑largest debut of 2026 with “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” the lead single from her upcoming album Petal, which sold 55,000 copies upon release.
