Bryson DeChambeau Signals LIV Golf’s Decline with Reflective Instagram Post

Bryson DeChambeau’s recent social‑media update underscores a widely held belief: LIV Golf is nearing its demise.

On Monday afternoon, DeChambeau shared an Instagram carousel highlighting his most memorable moments with the league, featuring several snapshots of him lifting the trophies he captured during his tenure.

“It was a good run,” the post was captioned.

It is well known that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which has been the primary financial backer of LIV Golf, has announced that its financial guarantees will not extend past the 2026 season.

The decision stems largely from the league’s struggle to attract viewership and ratings, which remain far below those generated annually by the PGA Tour.

The most recent sign of LIV Golf’s fragility came last week when the league canceled its season‑ending team championship, originally scheduled for late August in Michigan. Consequently, the tournament held at The Club at Chatham Hills in Indianapolis this past weekend determined both the individual and team champions.

Jon Rahm claimed the individual points title, while his squad, Legion XIII, also secured the team championship. DeChambeau finished as the runner‑up in the individual standings.

If this is indeed the end of LIV Golf, DeChambeau produced an impressive four‑season run. He won five individual LIV Golf titles and his team, Crushers GC, won 11 regular‑season tournament titles, which was the most in league history.

DeChambeau also earned over $15 million in the 2026 season and pocketed over $180 million throughout his LIV Golf tenure, largely because of the staggering estimated $125 million signing bonus he had back in 2022.

It was a good run indeed.
