What Time Does The Modern Warfare 4 Closed Beta Start And End?
The Early Access window begins after the virtual Call Of Duty: NEXT event, which starts at 9:00 AM PT (Friday, August 21). Activision’s NEXT event will be streamed live, with developers and creators sharing gameplay insights. The closed beta follows at 11:00 AM PT / 2:00 PM ET (Friday)

Supported Platforms For MW4 Beta
The closed beta launches across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Microsoft Windows. Note that Nintendo Switch 2 support is exclusive to the open beta, with beta files pre-loading on Switch 2 starting August 26.
Beta Content And Game Mode Availability
The closed beta emphasizes multiplayer, featuring six competitive maps: Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, Lotus, and Kill Block (randomized weekly). Game modes include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, 10v10 Warzone-style matches, and the new Tactical Mobility Course.
Single-player content includes the “Entrenched” campaign mission, marking a first for Call Of Duty beta programs.

Level progression rewards include:

Watchers who tune into NEXT streams for 15 minutes earn the “Gas Ready” Emblem. A “Rapple Repel” Calling Card drops after 30 minutes, with a “Ghost Helmet” Charm available for 45+ minute viewership.
