Cambodia Accelerates Infrastructure Development Through Strategic China Partnership

Cambodia and China have agreed to expedite four key infrastructure projects under the Diamond Hexagon cooperation framework, strengthening a bilateral relationship that represents approximately 75% of Cambodia’s foreign direct investment. This acceleration aligns with Cambodia’s self-directed development agenda through the Pentagonal Strategy, which targets achieving upper-middle-income status by 2030 and transitioning to high-income status by 2050.
