Carly Rae Jepsen is set to return with her most expansive release yet—a double album titled Day And Night, arriving September 18 via Interscope Records. The project follows her 2022 album The Loneliest Time and its 2023 companion piece The Loveliest Time, marking a significant evolution in her artistic journey.
The 24-track collection divides into two distinct halves: Day, characterized by organic arrangements featuring live instrumentation and retro-inspired psychedelic pop elements, and Night, which explores sleek, synth-driven dance-pop with a more experimental edge. Jepsen collaborated with producers Tavish Crowe, Kyle Shearer, Nate Cyphert, and Cole M.G.N. on the project.
While the full album remains unavailable, fans can preview Jepsen’s new direction with the lead single “On Wires,” released this past Friday. The release coincides with her headline performance at All Things Go NYC, adding momentum to what promises to be one of her most cohesive artistic statements.
