The Chargers have struggled with injuries early in the season, but the team may now be moving toward some positive news.

Jim Harbaugh spoke to the media on Wednesday and said that the injured reserve return windows for David Njoku and Denzel Perryman have opened.

Njoku is among the players currently on injured reserve. The veteran tight end has been dealing with a fibula injury and can soon be evaluated for a return to the 53-man roster.

Njoku missed the last five games after suffering the injury in Week 2 against the Raiders. He could return before the Chargers face the Texans in Week 9.

As for Perryman, he is also close to returning. Perryman has been dealing with an undisclosed injury and has not played this season. He was placed on injured reserve to start the season.

Perryman is in his second stint with the Chargers and his eighth season with the team.

The Chargers will look for their first win of the season this Sunday. They remain the only winless team in the NFL.
