Charli XCX has teased an unexpected collaboration for her upcoming album ‘Music, Fashion, Film’.
During a recent appearance on French TV show Daily, the popstar provided cryptic clues about her seventh studio release.
“There is one collaboration,” she told host Yann Barthès. “I’m not telling you, but you won’t be able to guess.”
Confident in her statement, she added, “I’d bet money on you not guessing. You could have 1,000 chances and still wouldn’t guess.”

The album, set for release on July 24, features a black-and-white cover photographed by Aidan Zamiri. It includes John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese in a posed group shot.
So far, Charli has released the lead single ‘Rock Music’ and the track ‘SS26’ from the record. A new song, ‘Wink Wink’, is scheduled for release later that day (June 25).
In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, Charli referenced lyrics from ‘Rock Music’, sparking speculation about a heavier album direction. She later clarified she never explicitly stated she was making a rock album but has indicated a shift away from the sound of her 2024 album ‘Brat’.
