Chelsea Green successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez in the opening contest of Friday Night SmackDown. The champion weathered a significant challenge from the Judgment Day member in a bout that lasted just under ten minutes.
The finish came amid chaos at ringside. Raquel Rodriguez intervened, shoving Green off the top rope to allow Perez a near-fall with a Shining Wizard. IYO SKY rushed down to neutralize Rodriguez, drawing Perez into a brawl on the outside. The distraction backfired on the challenger; upon re-entering the ring, Perez walked into a counter from a recovered Green, who reversed a Pop Rox attempt into the Unprettier to secure the pinfall victory.
Following the bell, Liv Morgan emerged to join Rodriguez and Perez in a three-on-one assault against Green and SKY. The numbers game appeared decisive until Tiffany Stratton sprinted down the ramp, Money in the Bank briefcase in hand. The babyfaces cleared the ring, and Stratton leveled Morgan with the briefcase, teasing an immediate cash-in. However, Rodriguez dragged Morgan to safety before the contract could be filed.
