Chelsea set to revive winter bid for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara
The Blues had a verbal agreement to sign the 22‑year‑old Senegalese from Monaco on deadline day, but the deal fell through when the Ligue 1 club performed a surprise U‑turn.
Monaco accepted a £47 million package for Camara but later withdrew, leaving Chelsea without a suitable replacement after also offloading Enzo Fernandez on the same day.
Despite the damaged relationship, the Telegraph reports that Chelsea will make a fresh approach for the player at the start of the January window, seeking to repair ties and secure his signature.
In addition to Camara, the Blues are also keeping an eye on Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, though he is unlikely to be available until the next summer transfer period.
