Owen Hart Documentary ‘OWEN’ Slated for Film Festivals and Crave Streaming

Titled OWEN, the documentary chronicles Hart’s life and is slated to debut on the film festival circuit. It has also secured a streaming deal, reportedly being acquired by HBO’s Crave service.

While an exact streaming premiere date has yet to be announced, Chris Jericho serves as an executive producer and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash composed the score. The Owen Hart Foundation praised everyone involved in the project via Facebook.

“The Owen Hart Foundation and its esteemed guests walked the red carpet at the private screening of the OWEN documentary in London, England. The film is poised to debut on the festival circuit shortly and has already been secured for HBO’s Crave streaming service, with Chris Jericho serving as an executive producer and Slash of Guns N’ Roses providing the musical score. Kudos to the film crew—Lee Brazier, Jo Lewis, Michael Paszt, and Pasha Patriki—for their outstanding work on this decade‑long project. Stay tuned for further details on public release dates. Special thanks go to Tony Khan and the AEW team (Linda, Katelyn, Kosha, Chris, and others) for organizing the VIP reception and private screening.”

Jericho has remained closely tied to Hart’s legacy, and the documentary reportedly took years to finish. AEW continues to collaborate regularly with the Owen Hart Foundation and hosts the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament each year.

The forthcoming documentary promises a deeper insight into Hart’s legacy.
