Before they became the acclaimed Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson wrestled under the name “Generation Me” during a brief stint with TNA.
The brothers made their TNA debut in January 2010, appearing as Max and Jeremy and defeating the Motor City Machine Guns.
In a recent interview with “Muscle Man Malcolm,” Chris Sabin discussed how he and Alex Shelley helped secure the Bucks’ contracts with TNA. He said:
“Yeah, so we first met the Young Bucks at PWG. Actually, we had a match booked against them, and as we wrestled them, and the following week, because we were still with Contractor TNA at the time, following week, we went right up to Terry Taylor, who was running Talent Relations at the time.
“We’re like, ‘you got to see these guys. You have to hire these guys.’ So eventually, they took our word, brought them in for a tryout. They saw them. They hired them. We wrestled them over and over and over and over again, and it was awesome. We just had the best chemistry, and we just want to reignite that feud again.
