CM Punk Errors on Key Spots in WWE Live Clash With Kevin Owens in Portland
WWE legend CM Punk remains among the final stars fans anticipate slipping up on the mat. Yet even seasoned professionals can find an off night, and The Best in the World was recently thrust into a comical misstep at a live WWE engagement.
An online video exposes Punk grappling with his routine spot at a house‑show venue in Portland, Oregon, where he faced Kevin Owens as part of WWE’s ongoing Road to Survivor Series tour effort.
The contest concluded in a Double Count‑Out, though a pivotal move generated plenty of fan speculation on online forums.
Previous meetings between Punk and Owens span multiple solo matches throughout the year, but this time’s encounter in Portland proved more volatile. Within the ring, Owens was elevated onto a table constructed near the entrance before leaping down onto the apron.
Upon trying to hurl himself onto Owens and drive him through the table, Punk encountered a rigid platform that stayed unmoved after impact. The failure means his planned distraction never materialized as intended.
