Cody Rhodes remains with WWE for the foreseeable future.
Cody Rhodes has signed a five‑year contract extension with WWE, ensuring his continued stay with the company.
Rhodes confirmed his re‑signing with WWE during an appearance on Andrew Schulz’s FLAGRANT podcast and noted that he had spoken with The New York Times about the new deal.
The New York Times later published a feature on Rhodes and Roman Reigns, confirming that the contract extension is for five years.
“Rhodes recently signed a five‑year contract extension with WWE, and Reigns wrestled at an event in New Orleans two days prior,” the article stated.
The new agreement underscores another major commitment between Rhodes and WWE following his return at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022.
Although the exact expiration date was not disclosed, the five‑year extension is expected to keep Rhodes under contract through 2031.
In a separate interview this week, Cody Rhodes disclosed potential timing for his in‑ring retirement.
Looking ahead, Cody Rhodes, a SmackDown competitor, is scheduled for an Undisputed WWE Championship match against Sami Zayn on the October 19 WWE Raw, presented as a dark‑match exclusive.
