Paul Rudd stars as a struggling wedding singer in the comedy-drama Power Ballad.
Directed by John Carney, the story centers on Rick Power, who forms an unlikely bond with former boy band member Danny Wilson during a wedding performance. The relationship sours when Danny steals one of Rick’s compositions and transforms it into a chart-topping hit, prompting Rick to pursue revenge.
Joining Rudd in the cast are Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu, and Jack Reynor. Power Ballad premiered in UK cinemas on May 29, 2026.
