Wide receiver George Pickens’ signing of the franchise tag on April 29 virtually ensured his attendance at the team’s mandatory minicamp and his reporting to training camp.

As expected, Pickens participated in the minicamp from June 16‑18, and on Monday he joined his teammates as they reported to camp in Oxnard, California.

The Pro Bowl wideout will play the 2026 season under the one‑year, fully guaranteed $27.3 million franchise tag he signed on April 29.

He will be the sole NFL player operating under a franchise tag for the upcoming season.

To position himself for a potential top‑tier contract at his position, Pickens will need to replicate—or exceed—his standout 2025 performance, when he recorded 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns en route to his first Pro Bowl with Dallas.
