In Abu Dhabi, Dayne “Da Hawaiian Hitman” Viernes retained the super heavyweight title at Power Slap 25, presented by Monster Energy at Space42 Arena, by defeating Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii via unanimous decision after five intense rounds. The judges scored the bout 48–44, 47–45, and 47–45 in Viernes’s favor, marking his second victory over Kamotskii following a majority decision win at Power Slap 13 in June 2025.
After the fight, Viernes praised Kamotskii as the toughest opponent he has faced and expressed surprise at the challenger’s power, while also indicating openness to completing a trilogy between the two.
Power Slap CEO Frank Lamicella noted the event’s record crowd and early sell‑out, stating that the organization will return to Abu Dhabi next year.
In the co‑main event, top‑ranked former title challenger Dakota “The Maritime Menace” McGregor secured a second‑round knockout of No. 3‑ranked Reiley “Slap Shady” Montoya, a performance lauded by Lamicella as “as clean as a knockout that you can have,” with the CEO adding that great things lie ahead for McGregor.
Additional results included a second‑round disqualification win for Louis “Razor” Robinson over India’s Jujhar “Tiger” Singh in the heavyweight division, and a second‑round knockout by Peter “The Alligator All G” Truchlik over Merlin “Action” Muusikus in the middleweight bout. The show marked the third consecutive year Power Slap has headlined a marquee live event in Abu Dhabi as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week.
