Danhausen Named Host of NXT Halloween Havoc 2026; Title Matches Set

WWE

Following the October 13 edition of WWE NXT, Shawn Michaels has approved Danhausen’s arrival on the brand. The storyline, which began during the broadcast and continued on social media, culminated in the announcement of Danhausen as the official host for the upcoming premium live event.

Danhausen Presents: WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2026

The decision came after Mr. Stone discovered a threatening note on his desk at the close of the October 13 NXT episode demanding Danhausen’s appointment as Halloween Havoc host. Michaels later confirmed the arrangement on social media, appearing highly motivated to avoid any potential curse. WWE subsequently released the official event poster featuring Danhausen prominently, signaling a distinctly spooky atmosphere for the October 31 spectacle.

Danhausen’s NXT Debut

While Danhausen has made an immediate impression on the main roster since his arrival, he notably bypassed the Performance Center entirely—a path shared by fellow AEW alumni Royce Keys and Jade Cargill. Other former AEW talents such as Ricky Saints, Blake Monroe, and Cruz Montana spent developmental time in NXT before ascending. Halloween Havoc now serves as Danhausen’s formal introduction to the NXT audience, with significant potential for his signature brand of chaos.

NXT Championship Matches Also Confirmed

Additionally, two championship bouts were confirmed for Halloween Havoc 2026 during the broadcast. Wren Sinclair will challenge NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan after earning her opportunity through a high-stakes elimination match. Meanwhile, Tony D’Angelo secured his rematch against NXT Champion Grayson Waller by defeating Myles Borne to become the number one contender, setting up a clash between the former champion and the current titleholder. The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals are also expected to feature on the card, though the precise scheduling remains unannounced as the quarterfinal round continues.

Spooky Shenanigans Anticipated

Given Danhausen’s established repertoire—which includes the Hausenmobile, Minihausens, and his infamous collection of human teeth—his hosting duties promise substantial unpredictability. Whether he observes remotely from a secret lair providing narration or actively engages with NXT talent and the live crowd throughout the Halloween spectacular, his presence guarantees the “wild and wacky” entertainment befitting the holiday-themed event.
