David Morales, a 28‑year‑old from Rhode Island, portrays the fictional villainous politician “The Commissioner” for the Renegade Wrestling Alliance and has been elected mayor of Providence.
In the recent municipal election, Morales, a Democrat, defeated Republican opponent Dave Talan, securing roughly 81 percent of the vote. His term will begin in January.
