At least 10 people lost their lives and approximately 60 others were injured in central Mexico when fireworks exploded unexpectedly during a religious celebration. The incident occurred in Temascalcingo, a municipality in the state of Mexico, while residents were honoring their patron saint. Emergency services rushed the wounded to nearby hospitals, and an investigation into the cause of the explosion is underway. Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances leading to the blast.
