DetainedIndividual Held After Foiled Stabbing Attempt at Western Galilee Border Police Facility

An attempted stabbing incident targeting a Border Police officer was thwarted early Friday morning at the Western Galilee police station, according to Israel Police.

The assailant arrived at the station entrance around 5:30 a.m., exited his vehicle, and approached a Border Police officer brandishing a knife.

The officer successfully intervened, apprehending a 23‑year‑old resident of Jadeidi‑Makr.

The suspect was taken into custody for further questioning.
