Amid anticipation for A. G. Cook‑produced single ZIRP!, Diiv have unveiled the new track “Kid,” featuring a short filmed by two local children. The clip shows Diiv frontman Zachary Cole Smith’s son Roy assisting alongside his friend Julian, both of whom helped capture the scene.

The band’s follow‑up album Frog in Boiling Water — a title that echoes the phrase “zero interest rate policies” — is set for release on October 30 through Fantasy Records. Touring begins soon, with stops across North America and Europe, including a November performance at Pitchfork Paris, after a one‑off appearance at São Paulo’s Balaclava Fest earlier this summer.
