The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to call up one of their most exciting prospects, bringing top outfielder Josue De Paula from Double-A to the major leagues, according to reports on Wednesday. The Athletic was the first to report the news of the promotion.
At just 21 years old, De Paula is ranked as the No. 6 prospect in all of baseball and is the highest-rated outfielder in the minor leagues. He spent the 2026 season playing for the Dodgers’ Double-A affiliate, the Tulsa Drillers, where he delivered an impressive performance, hitting 27 home runs in 123 games.
In addition to his stellar recent season, De Paula captured national attention when he was named the MVP of the 2025 Futures Game, showcasing the immense talent that has earned him a spot in the major leagues.
