Dolly Parton officially opened the newly renovated Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, a modern travel center that reflects her decades‑long journey across the United States.

The singer made a surprise appearance at the ribbon‑cutting ceremony in Cornersville on Wednesday, launching a week‑long series of celebrations featuring events, entertainment, and giveaways.

Parton expressed pride in the venture, stating, “The doors are open, and I could not be more proud. Whether you are transporting freight, traveling with family, or merely passing through, this establishment was created with you in mind. We offer quality food, comfortable rest, a touch of music, and a staff genuinely pleased to welcome you—exactly what the road has always deserved. Welcome home.”

The project is a collaboration between Parton, her longtime manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, owner of the Tennessean Travel Stop brand, which partnered with the singer to launch the revamped truck stop. Sachs noted that this landmark location, infused with Dolly’s spirit, sets a high benchmark for future sites.

Key attractions of the Cornersville location include a Butterfly Lullaby (Mountain Gospel)a mural by Southern artist Britt Flood celebrating Parton’s roots and the sprawling landscape of Cornersville; a full‑service restaurant and bar; a tour bus for photo opps; a cafe serving a “Cup of Ambition,” Parton’s coffee brand in partnership with Community Coffee; and even a Doggy Parton dog park. Of course, there’s also a shop chock full of sparkling Dolly Parton merch.
