Dua Lipa and her husband, actor Callum Turner, attended Wednesday night’s Yankees‑Rays playoff game at Yankee Stadium. It marked Lipa’s first experience at a Major League Baseball contest, and she sampled her first authentic American hot dog during the evening. Despite the entertainment, the Yankees ultimately fell to the Rays, ending their postseason run.

Marlins Man—real name Laurence Leavy—was seated near Lipa and chronicled her night on Twitter. In a series of posts, he noted that this was her inaugural baseball game and her very first hot dog, and that she was persuaded to stand for “God Bless America” during the anthem, unlike fellow celebrity Bad Bunny. He described her as “super nice,” “just married,” and wished her “50 years of happiness.” The fan later reiterated the hot‑dog milestone and called Lipa “the best celebrity I ever met.”
