Bournemouth’s Alex Scott and Real Betis’ Antony received red cards after clashing during a heated confrontation in Seville on Friday, with the match concluding 2-2.

The incident occurred in the first half after Nelson Deossa of Betis kicked the ball at Bafode Diakite following a challenge, escalating tensions between the teams and leading to a physical altercation on the pitch.

Scott and Antony exchanged shoves before being sent off by the referee for their involvement. The brawl involved players from both squads in a chaotic scene before order was restored.

Marcus Tavernier’s 41st-minute goal gave Bournemouth the lead, but Cucho Hernandez equalized for Betis in the 57th minute. Evanilson restored Bournemouth’s advantage, though Pablo Fornals netted a late equalizer to secure Betis’s share of the spoils.

Bournemouth prepares for their final pre-season match against Mainz on 15 August (14:30 BST) before their Premier League opener against Manchester City on 23 August.
