Players discussed equipment theft during Saturday’s training, acknowledging stolen items reported earlier in the week.
A vehicle transporting England’s tournament gear in Florida was burglarized on Friday, resulting in $18,000 worth of belongings sold to two suspects, Mustafa Salik and Erfan Kamal, arrested by Kansas City police.
The Football Association clarified that no critical performance equipment was lost, with most stolen items recovered, including four pairs of boots, a ball, goalkeeper gloves, and training kits.
Defender Dan Burn downplayed the incident, stating: “I haven’t personally lost anything—we learned about it through media channels. It’s now with authorities, so I can’t add much. It doesn’t seem to have disrupted our preparations.”
