European Airpower’s Future Likely Lies in Unmanned Systems

While European air programs have largely centered on sixth‑generation manned fighters, there is growing emphasis on unmanned platforms, encompassing both large combat‑aircraft concepts and the small quadcopter surge observed in Ukraine. With one sixth‑generation fighter program cancelled, the trajectory appears to be shifting toward drone technologies.
