A former senior CIA executive is expected to plead guilty to a federal crime on Tuesday, following an FBI raid that recovered 303 gold bars valued at roughly $40 million from his residence earlier this year.
David J. Rush, the former official, was arrested in May and charged with theft of public money. Court records indicate he is scheduled to appear before U.S. District Judge Michael S. Nachmanoff for a plea‑agreement hearing Tuesday afternoon in Alexandria, Virginia.
