Fairy Glen leads the market in the John Musker Fillies’ Stakes at Yarmouth

The Listed John Musker Fillies’ Stakes headlines day two of Yarmouth’s Eastern Festival on Wednesday, broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing.

3.41 Yarmouth – Fairy Glen, Seet & Rhapsody clash

The EBF Stallions John Musker Fillies’ Stakes is the feature event on an excellent mid‑week card at Yarmouth.

Fairy Glen, a Simon & Ed Crisford‑trained filly, tops the field with a 112‑rating mark. The Group Two winner is expected to be difficult to beat in this lower‑graded contest. She was narrowly beaten when finishing fifth in the Group One Prix Vicomtesse Vigier in May and will be hard to fault if fit on her return.

Rhapsody, trained by William Haggas and Tom Marquand, is a dual winner who has finished second in her last two starts. A repeat of that effort would keep her in contention.

Seet is lightly raced and is expected to improve, while Sky Safari has not been seen since a third‑place finish in the Group Three Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle and looks an each‑way prospect on her switch to turf.

4.12 Yarmouth – Unbeaten Enoch makes handicap debut

Ryan Moore, who holds a 24 % strike‑rate from over 100 rides at Yarmouth, will take the ride on Enoch as the horse seeks to remain unbeaten in a strong field for the Goffs Two Million Series Handicap.

John & Thady Gosden’s colt made it two wins from two when overriding a penalty at Lingfield last month and, given his pedigree, is an exciting addition to handicap company.

Round The Table earned a maiden and a novice win on his debut but struggled with his pace when beaten on handicap debut last time out. He receives a tongue‑tie removal in an attempt to improve his performance.

Several other runners have chances, including the consistent El Matador. Meanwhile, Point Of Contact was a beaten favourite at Salisbury and will need to prove his ability.

3.06 Yarmouth – Liberty’s Hall aims to improve on debut

Liberty’s Hall hopes to build on a promising debut in the EBF Future Stayers Maiden Stakes.

James Owen’s Nathaniel son showed inexperience when finishing second to Sonic Angel on his first start at Kempton last month, and natural progression should see him hit the frame again.

Nostalgic Warrior, a half‑brother to the useful Star Performer, is also in the mix, while Divine Rhythm must be watched in the betting on his debut for William Haggas.

Richard Hughes’s Daddy Star is worth considering, and Chapel Stream finished seventh on his debut; his trainer has added cheekpieces in an effort to boost his performance.
