Selected by the Falcons in the third round of the 2024 draft, Bralen Trice was expected to develop into a key defensive end. Yet, he never saw action in a regular-season game for the franchise.
Trice was included in the Falcons’ final roster cuts on Sunday, bringing a two-year chapter in Atlanta to an underwhelming close.
At just 25 years old, Trice suffered an ACL tear during his first preseason game, causing him to miss his entire rookie season. He later aggravated the same knee injury in 2025, never playing a regular-season snap for the Falcons.
A two-time first-team All-Pac-12 selection and two-time bowl game MVP at Washington, Trice was not regarded as a reach at the time of selection. However, he ultimately became a rare third-round pick who never established himself on the field for the team that drafted him.
