During Tuesday night’s matchup against the Seattle Storm, Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston exited early after a sudden knee injury.
In the second quarter at Climate Pledge Arena, Boston set a screen and rolled toward the basket from the top of the key. While attempting to maneuver past Flau’jae Johnson, the two became tangled, causing Boston to fall hard onto the court.
She landed directly on her right knee and immediately signaled discomfort as the ball was fouled.
Boston remained on the floor for a significant period. She was eventually helped onto her feet before limping back to the locker room, head wrapped in a towel. Details regarding the injury are still pending.
At the time of her exit, Boston had recorded 11 points and two rebounds, maintaining an average of 17.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season.
