Details remain limited, but new images shared by Android Headlines suggest the Fitbit Edge will serve as the successor to Fitbit’s midrange Charge lineup. The design appears to strike a balance between the Pixel Watch and the Fitbit Air, featuring a compact display capable of showing select widgets without offering the larger, more app-focused screen of a full smartwatch.
The wearable is reportedly built around fitness, with an expected seven-day battery life, built-in GPS, and an altimeter. Those features would make it more capable than the minimalist Air while retaining a lighter orientation than the Watch. Limited app support has also been mentioned, including Google Maps and YouTube Music.
With the Charge line last refreshed in 2023, a new midrange tracker seems overdue. No pricing or release timing has been confirmed, but a position between the $99.99 Air and the $399.99 Watch points toward the $150 to $200 range. The Charge 6 is currently selling for $159.95.
