About 100 Breslov Hasidim entered the Palestinian village of Kifl Haris on Monday night to protest restricted access to the graves of Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Yefuna, Israel Police said.
The group, which follows convicted sex offender Eliezer Berland, said Palestinian residents threw stones, injuring two members, according to N12.
The two injured declined hospital transport, fearing arrest over possible draft‑evasion charges, N12 reported.
Police and IDF units responded, but the participants had already left the area when forces arrived. Officers discovered damaged Palestinian vehicles and scattered stones at the site, the Police stated.
An investigation identified several individuals; five Jerusalem residents aged 16 to 20 were arrested near the Hizma crossing.
This follows an incident in March when dozens of Breslov Hasidim forcibly entered Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus, barricading themselves inside after crossing into Palestinian‑controlled territory without IDF coordination.
Nablus lies in Area A, under the security jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority.
