Police were dispatched to a youth soccer match in Florida after a dispute involving the parents of a three‑year‑old player over the weekend.

Body‑camera footage captured the boy’s parents alleging that their son, Nevada, was removed from the game because he was outperforming his teammates and making them feel embarrassed. The event organizer countered that Nevada had been pushing other children and that his parents became confrontational when the boy was taken off the field.

The organizer, employed by i9 Sports—a youth sports organization—stated on the body‑camera footage that Nevada’s parents had created a disturbance at the event.

In the recording the organizer praised Nevada, saying, “The kid is good. He’s great. Really good. He’s very advanced compared to the other kids, so he’s scoring a lot of goals. However, he’s pushing the kids… I tried to tell him, ‘Don’t push; we want to play without pushing, right?’”

Nevada’s parents shared a video of the match in which their son is seen effortlessly dribbling past older opponents. The clip quickly went viral, though no pushing of other children is evident in the footage they released.

Nevada’s mother said on the body‑camera footage, “They’re mad at my son because he actually plays soccer. They’re literally kicking him out of this place because he’s good at soccer. First they said he’s not passing, but nobody’s catching the ball when he’s passing.”

The i9 Sports representative informed officers that the organization would offer a refund to Nevada’s family if they chose to leave.

“I just want him out. Immediately,” the organizer told police. “Just give me their names so I can give them their refund.”

The Winter Park Police Department reported that the family agreed to leave the event, and no arrests were made.

In a statement on its website, the department noted, “The family indicated the game was over and they were leaving. They were cooperative with the officers. No one was arrested, trespassed, or forced to leave the park.”

i9 Sports announced that it was reviewing the incident and had reached out to Nevada’s family.

i9 Sports released a statement saying, “We are aware of concerns being shared regarding an incident at a local i9 Sports program, and we take them very seriously. The respectful treatment and well‑being of every child and family matter deeply to us. We have reached out to the family and have begun a review that includes speaking with those involved. While we work to understand the circumstances, we will not speculate or share unverified information. We appreciate everyone who has brought their concerns to our attention.”

One officer expressed curiosity about seeing more of Nevada play. “I kind of want to see him play. I bet he’s good,” he told his colleague on the body‑camera footage.
