Former Wladimir Klitschko expresses deep grief over Hayden Panettiere’s passing

Since the announcement of Hayden Panettiere’s death on Monday, tributes have flooded in from her organisé peers, friends and fans.

Connie Britton, her co‑star from the musical drama series Nashville, shared photos of the two of them onstage on Instagram, captioning the images: “This was Hayden—bursting with brilliance, shining so bright.” She added, “I have no words for this sad song—just heartbreak. I love you, girl. Sleep easy now.”

Masi Oka, who previously worked with Panettiere on the supernatural drama Heroes, admitted he was “absolutely heartbroken” by the news. “I had the privilege of working closely with her, and I’ll always remember her for her beautiful spirit, immense talent and the joyful energy she brought to everything she did and to the people around her,” he wrote on X. “She was way wiser beyond her years and gone too soon… My heart goes out to her family and everyone who loved her. Rest in peace, Hayden.”

Prior to landing her major roles in Heroes and Nashville, Panettiere was a child star in films such as Remember the Titans and Raising Helen.

Beth Chamberlin, who portrayed her on‑screen mother on the U.S. soap opera Guiding Light for three years, called her “the most brilliant child actor I’ve ever seen.” She noted, “The things she could do, the way she could remember 20+ pages of dialogue, day after day.”

Chamberlin added, “Even on days when the director would pull between dress rehearsal and tape and make massive cuts, Hayden never once forgot a line or missed her blocking. The adults might, but not Hayden. I felt blessed to work with her and she was always perfect in her playing of the scene.”
